MEET TONI POWELL

Toni is an author and expert on happiness, good relationships, wellbeing and creating positive workplace culture. She has both TEDx and Goalcast talks.

Toni works with companies and institutions such as Geelong Grammar, Westpac, Allianz, Monash University and Lion Co.  She’s conducted masterclasses or been opening keynote speaker at many conferences including Happiness & Its Causes and the CPA conferences.

She’s also had the amazing privilege of gracing the stage alongside luminaries such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama & Brene Brown. Toni was the subject of a heart-warming ABC ‘Australian Story’ episode called Let There Be Light

PROGRAM MINI OVERVIEW

THIS PROGRAM IS PACKED WITH SIMPLE PRACTICAL TOOLS, STORYTELLING & A DASH OF HUMOUR

WEEK ONE

In the first week Toni covers the introduction to the program, the background story and a range of foundational material and science that the program sits on.

WEEK 2

In the second week Toni will share a life changing epiphany, a perspective-changing short film and expand participant understanding of how to stop being controlled by negative experiences.

WEEK 3

The third week is where Toni delves into the practices that radically changed her life – she’ll share an intimate walk through of how she instituted those changes – right from day one. Your team will be able to see how easy it is to apply these things in their own lives.

WEEK 4

Happiness is so much more than a pleasant emotion generated by outside circumstances. Understanding happiness and its impact on almost every area of life is a necessary base for building a good and satisfying life and creating good relationships. When people get happier they  increase brain productivity by up to 31%. Who doesn’t need that?  This week is all about gaining a deep understanding of exactly what happiness is and where it really comes from.

There will also be an eye-opening look into one of the biggest enemies of happiness.

WEEK 5

Your team’s stress levels, their fears and their mindset are constantly being affected by something they do every day, all day.  Becoming conscious of that thing that everyone does allows your staff to have increased power over how they are feeling at any given moment.

It’s wonderful to use newly gained skills to change your relationship with painful things in the present – this session takes it all a step further and teaches your team how to change painful things from the past

WEEK 6

In 2012 Brother David, one of the world leaders in wellbeing & happiness, invited Toni to speak at a conference in San Francisco. While she was there she was lucky enough to hang out with Brother David and record some of their conversation.

As well as this conversation Toni gives helpful insight on how to handle the pain and unexpected challenges of life.

Small changes can add up to big difference. This final session also includes tips on how to stick with these small changes.
