Hi, I’m Toni Powell
And I’m an author and expert on happiness, good relationships, wellbeing and creating positive workplace culture. I have both TEDx and Goalcast talks.
I work with schools and institutions such as Geelong Grammar and Monash University and take my entertaining & effective programs into companies like Westpac, BHP & Allianz. I also do keynote speaking at conference (yes back when we had those things) and have had the amazing privilege of gracing the stage alongside luminaries such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama & Brene Brown. In 2006 I was the subject of a heart-warming ‘Australian Story’ episode called Let There Be Light

Session 1: The Happiness Advantage & An Introduction to Neuroscience
Happiness is so much more than a pleasant emotion generated by outside circumstances. Understanding happiness and its impact on almost every area of life is a necessary base for building happiness skills. Participants will be able to increase brain productivity by up to 31% simply by learning to be happier.
When your members understand how their brains work and learn how to change their old patterns they increase their ability to modulate their emotions, reduce stress and improve their relationships.
Session 2 : The Architect of Your Brain & A Great Big Epiphany
Six words changed how I understand the world – in this session your members will see how this epiphany unfolded and how these same six words can affect how they perceive a situation and also help them change a negative into a positive. We’ll also be continuing to build understanding of neuroscience.
Session 3 : Lighten the Worry Load & A Dozen Ways to Fight Fear
Fear, anxiety and stress severely impact your member’s ability to be open minded, creative, cooperative, calm and productive. This session delivers simple tools that can be used by your people to instantly reduce these taxing emotions.
Session 4: The Surprising Key to Wellbeing & Happiness
Research done over more than 40 years shows that there is one simple practice proven to raise happiness levels by 25%. This same practice impacts physical, mental and relational health in a very profound way.

Session 5: Lights, Camera, Action! & The Giraffe Effect
So what does all this look like in real life? It’s nice to hear something inspiring however how can you use it to actually make a difference? I take your members on an intimate walk through my personal life so they can see how I applied what I’m teaching and also how they might apply these practices themselves.
We’ll also talk about The Giraffe Effect so your people understand about what they’re doing themselves that is stressing them out.
Session 6: The Happiness Killer & The One Amazing Quick Fix
There are things that everyone does, unconsciously, every day that are impacting their mood, stress levels and feeding their fears. Helping them become conscious of these allows them to have increased power over how they are feeling at any given moment.
Small changes can add up to big difference. This session includes tips on how to make sure your people stick with these small changes and also teaches one simple practice to further increase happiness levels and dramatically improve team relationships.

How your members feel about themselves has an impact on everything they do. People who have good self-image and aren’t hampered by Imposter Syndrome are more likely to achieve their goals and to put forward innovative ideas.
